Mental Health and Substance Abuse

Sometimes stress and everyday problems can become too much. If you have problems with depression, alcohol, or drugs, if you think about harming yourself or others, or if you suffer from other mental health issues, the Community Services Program is available to provide mental health and substance abuse intervention and referral services. A staff member is usually available 24 hours a day for emergencies and crisis intervention.

To schedule an appointment with Community Services, call (907) 886-7491.

Emergencies

For MENTAL HEALTH EMERGENCIES after hours and on weekends, dial 911 or call the Metlakatla Police Department at (907) 886-4011.
