Physical Therapy

The Health Center's Physical Therapy Department offers a wide scope of modalities for treatment, including manual therapy, hot/cold treatment, therapeutic ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and mechanical cervical and lumbar traction. Therapeutic exercise is accomplished with manual resistive exercise, theraband, and gait training in a fully-equipped Physical Therapy gym. Therapy services include orthopedic, neurological and pediatric rehabilitation, hand therapy, diabetes and arthritis education and aqua therapy. Normally, therapy is conducted over a six- to eight-week period. It is the patient's responsibility to keep appointments and referrals up to date.

Physical Therapy is provided as a Contract Health Service and all eligibility requirements apply. You must be referred to Physical Therapy by a Health Care Practitioner and it is your responsibility to contact the Physical Therapy office to schedule an appointment.
